"ONE STROKE” BRUSHWORK COURSES TO BE HELD IN CROYDON SURREY AND PONTEFRACT WEST YORKSHIRE

After a very cold, but exciting show at Pensthurst Place in Kent, where Rachel demonstrated with ChromaColour’s vibrant Acrylics on black parchment, she was asked if we could hold some workshops on this technique.
You may attend one or two days at either Pontefract or Croydon. The course is essentially for beginners.
If you have already done some One Stroke painting you will still learn a lot from Rachel who has been a One Stroke Brush work teacher for 15 years.
Each day costs £45.00. This includes lunch and a set of brushes for keeps.

| Come along and learn how to run your own pottery business. Bespoke courses are run 7 days a week on demand. You will learn how to fire a kiln, glazing and firing. What you will need to set up, how much it will cost to start your own ceramic business, what you need and where to get it from. Painting skills will also be covered. We also hold children's parties so you can learn how to run one first hand. | ||

Rachel Byass has worked in the Art Industry for 25 years. She has worked on lots of different surfaces and with many different paint products.
Rachel owns her own Art studio in Pontefract West Yorkshire where she holds Art and Ceramic Workshops.
Over the years she has gained 8 different Certifications, the most recent one this year, making her the third only Certified Copic Teacher in UK. Rachel loves to teach and pass on her knowledge and enthusiasm. Her biggest passion is painting Botanical flowers which started when she studied Horticulture at Askham Bryant in York. Rachel has had the pleasure of been taught by Jackie Shaw, Donna Dewberry, Maureen McNaughton and Gail Ann Cross, all well known One Stroke Artists.
Rachel loves One Stroke Brushwork painting, a popular Art form especially in the USA. People are amazed at seeing two to three colours blended on a brush and in one simple stroke a flower is created before your eyes in seconds. What is even more exciting is that with a little tuition anyone can do it. You do not have to be an Artist to do One Stroke it is all about the loading of paint and the movement of a brush.
Rachel became the ChromaColour “In-house” Artist three years ago. She has worked with many different Acrylics, but loves ChromaColour’s vibrant colours the best. From our original 80 colours Rachel has introduced ChromaColour Inks, Fabric (T- Shirt) Paints and most recently our own range of One Stroke Paints. She says that no other Acrylic works as well as ChromaColour are especially stunning on black card.
As an Artist she loves to see others enjoy painting through her workshops and has introduced lots of new products, Pattern Packs and Practice Sheets to help others enjoy her Art.
Rachel also travel teaches going into Clubs, other Art shops as well as Schools and Colleges throughout the UK. She also teaches overseas in France, Spain and Holland and the US.
ChromaColour has a classroom for workshops and these are held both in Croydon and Pontefract all year round.
