Introducing Chromacolour Inks

These beautiful acrylic inks come in 12 vibrant colours that dry in a minute and do not smear or move when another colour is applied on top.

  1. Ready to use straight from the bottle or thin them down for a more pastel look. They can be used just like a watercolour when wet, but once they are dry they are permanent and light fast.
  2. The inks work well on fabric without the need for fabric medium and they do not need heat setting. Great for T shirts or silk and the vibrant colours work well in today’s fashions for brightness. The colours are waterproof and will not wash out of the fabric. So be careful when applying!
  3. The inks also work well on wood. First paint the wood with a Chromacolour Gesso Primer to seal the wood then paint on top.
  4. The inks come with a very good Sumi Squirrel brush and a pen so any style of painting on card can be done, be it decorative art, brush strokes, or simple stencilling or a water colour technique.
  5. You can also buy Chromacolour Stamping Medium made to work with the inks. When using card stamps simply apply the gel sparingly to a stencil. Sponge and stamp the card. Wait two minutes for the gel to dry and then shade the card with the help of the Sumi brush. This will make a card in minutes that looks like a work of art!
  6. For “Pen and Ink” simply dip the pen into the ink and draw. After a minute the ink is dry and then with the red Sumi brush shade the picture with colours.
  7. Calligraphy. The inks can be used for writing and work well with Calligraphy pens.
  8. Ideal for Brush Strokes. The inks work very well for Brush Strokes and they do not bleed into each other when a brush is loaded with two different colours at the same time. Great for flowers as they are verdant, but yet still translucent.
  9. Ceramics. The inks paint beautifully onto ceramics, but the bisque needs to be base coated first with Chromacolour Titanium White acrylic to seal the bisque.
  10. Air Brushing. Works well in most air brushing machines. Wash out thoroughly immediately after use.
