Metal Animation Disc 15 Field
Made from
selected flat sheet Duralium (a mixture of aluminium and other metals
producing an extraordinary hard, tough, metal). Our discs produced from
these sheets are attractive because they are thin and the surface is
flat. Two graduated peg bars top and bottom can be locked into position
from the left or right allowing full sweep of the board from either
side. The base position mounts revolve allowing the disc to be turned
easily when situated into an animation desk. The disc will also
free-stand on a work surface, lightbox, and under camera. A conversion
‘Pegbar’ is available to convert the 15 Field disc to 12 Field.
Perspex Animation Disc 12 Field & 15 Field
Made of high quality opaline perspex that provides a rigid working surface that will not distort or yellow under normal working conditions. A 25mm diameter hole has been cut into the outer edge to facilitate easy turning during use. By taping a pegbar to the surface these discs can be used for animation and painting or tracing.

Black Plexiglas Animation Disc 12 & 15 Field
Durable and
high-quality animation discs preferred by professional animators and

- Opaque insert provides large drawing space. Clear glass is layered
over white Plexiglas to provide a durable, replaceable surface. Glass is
held in place with brass screw and clips. The centre of the field is
conveniently marked on the back.
- Durable, black, Plexiglas frame, so
disc is completely stable and unaffected by changes in temperature and
humidity.
- Beveled 1" holes on top and bottom of the disc allow
effortless rotation of disc.
- Easy to install. (Lighting kits not
included).
- Top and bottom black Plexiglas panning pegbars are 1.25" x
20", with fixed brass ACME registration pegs.
- Precisely calibrated in
1/20" increments. "0" marks the centre reference point, with 8"
delineated on each side. Pegbars slide easily through a beveled track
and can be locked into any position, or even removed completely.
- 12F glass disc working area is 318mm Wide by 228mm high
- 15F glass disc working area is 445 mm wide by 276mm high
